SCC Basic Safety course
The Basic Safety Course (SCC) was developed by ARBO Opleidingsinstituut Nederland, the AOIN, on the basis of the attainment targets as determined by SSVV (Foundation for Cooperation for Safety) and the Central Board of Experts. The Basic Safety SCC Course (training) is intended for operational employees in various branches (construction, installation, petrochemical industry, etc.). The Basic Safety SCC Course is certified by the CBR / CCV in the context of the Professional Competence Directive (compulsory refresher training for driver's code 95).

Course program
The course is carried out according to the following step-by-step plan:
Introduction
Before the course material is discussed, the teacher will inform all students of the purpose, content and course of the course program.
The following components will be discussed:
- the creation of the course;
- the benefits of the course (for the student and the company);
- the duration and content of the course program;
- the number of hours of independent study;
- the content and time of the exam.
Course program
The course that is given during 2 days or 4 evenings / half days (each of 4 hours) contains the following modules:
- Working conditions and legislation
- Risks and control measures
- Hazardous substances
- Fire and explosion hazard
- Confined spaces
- Tools and machines
- Hoisting, lifting, carrying, tripping, slipping, falling
- Working at height
- Welding
- Personal protective equipment
Using oral and visual presentation techniques, the teacher will discuss and explain the various modules and the paragraphs contained therein as clearly as possible. It is possible to follow the course and / or exam in another language, such as: English, German, Polish, Croatian, Serbian etc. (Please contact us for more information).
All course materials are included in the price and all day courses include lunch. In consultation with you, the training is planned during working hours, the evening or the weekend, either in-company or on location. Obviously, open registration is also an option.
Mock exam
At the start of each subsequent course, the student takes a mock exam. The results of this are discussed in detail with the students.
Trainer
The course is provided by a trainer from the AOIN under the direct responsibility of the training coordinator and the management of the AOIN.
Exam and diploma
After completing the course, the students will take the exam. During this exam, which falls under NEN-EN 45013, 70 multiple choice questions are presented to the student. Upon successful completion, each student will be awarded the Basic VCA Diploma. This has a validity of 10 years.
Certificate
The AOIN course is concluded with a valid personal certificate.
